6 years, 6 long years. Today marks the anniversary of the worst day I can ever remember. It reminds us just how horrible people in this world can be. It reminds us just how brave others are. It reminds us how we never know when the worst could happen, how we never know what the worst will be. But most of all it reminds us how neighbors and perfect strangers can come together in a time of sorrow and need and stand united against the terrible things that happen. It shows us just how little it takes to show someone you care and how that little something remains with us all forever.
It seems so long ago to say that its been 6 years since the attacks on the World Trade Center, but all of us know it so well it seems in our minds and in our hearts that it was only yesterday. My thoughts once again go out to the families and friends who lose their loved ones on that dreadful day.
Today my gift to you is in honor of those who we lost. (sorry there is NO ALPHA, its strictly letters U, S & A)
