Hi there and welcome to October at Valarie’s blog.  I’m here to share some inspiration from me to you.  If you’re a regular to Valarie’s blog, I’m kind of the freebie desktop lady and this month is no exception. If you haven’t got one yet for autumn, feel free to to snag my freebie desktops.

They were made using Valarie’s contribution to the October Color Play event at Elemental Scraps. I used Crisp Elements and Crisp Papers.

I was going to share a tutorial with you and then the Katie at the Daily Digi beat me to it, so you might want to check out her excellent tutorial which you can find HERE

All I would add, is that you create a new file, the size of you desktop, ie 1024x 768 at 300dpi, add a background paper and then drag your favourite 12x12 or 8x8 layout onto it.  Arrange as you please and then save as a .jpeg.  Simple, eh.  Here is my original layout and I’m sure you can see exactly what I did LOL!
