Its Worse
Just a quick post to give you your freebie and update you on my grandfather. I'll give more details tomorrow when I feel better and hopefully know more. But Thursday, we thought the only problem was pneumonia. Well tests have now proven it was a heart attack, hes had them before. When he went in on Thursday his blood count was 14, yesterday it dropped to 12, today it dropped to 7. He was in extreme pain all day and was not allowed medication for it due to other medicines he had been taking. We have also found out that he had some type of anuerism type thing in his back, it ruptured. His abdominal cavity filled with blood. He lost about 3 pints and was still slowly bleeding to death. They started a transfusion to give him 2 pints. All the family went in expecting him to not make it through the night. He was life flighted from a hospital in Morehead to UK in Lexington (over 60 miles away). They have postponed surgery until tomorrow as they believe the ruptured area is repairing itself. Things are still touch and go right now but we are still hoping.
Ive been more depressed this evening than I can ever remember being. I have another migraine and I desperately need to sleep it off and prepare for my hangover tomorrow so your freebie is a small one, Im sorry.

I am so sorry to hear your news about your grandfather. My thoughts and prayers are with him, you and the family at this time. It is never easy when something like this happens, and such a worry every time the phone rings in case it is bringing the worst news. You just take care of yourself and your family as freebies must be the last thing on your mind right now and are just not important when compared to your grandfather and family.

Sending good thoughts your grandfather's way.
Prayers go out to you family and especially your grandfather. It can be so difficult when they can't seem to track down what is going on.
Still keeping him and your family in my thoughts.
Val, make yourself a cup of peppermint tea and soak your feet in a tub of hot water(as hot as you can stand) I suffer from migraines too, so I understand the pain and the day after effects of a migraine. Soaking your feet in hot water draws the excess blood from the brain to your feet to help alleviate some of the pain. Trust me, it works! You have my continued prayers for your family!
My thoughts are with you. Thanks for the freebie, but please just take care of yourself. Patty
